Description
Ingredients
- 2 tsp of aromatic cumin seeds
- A hint of fiery chilli flakes
- 2 generous tbsp of rich olive oil
- 600g of fresh carrots, thoroughly washed and roughly grated (leave the peel on for extra nutrients!)
- 140g of wholesome split red lentils
- 1l of piping hot vegetable broth (cubed version works wonders too)
- 125ml of fresh milk (for a dairy-free twist, see our note below)
- For serving: creamy yogurt and delightful naan bread
